German Wine in the Media | May & June

 

In Wine Enthousiast, Anna C Iijima points out some must-try German Sylvaner, Weissburgunder and Spätburgunder  (aka Silvaner, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc).

 

New York Time's resident wine critic Isaac Asimov comments on 2016 German Rieslings: "If I can speak generally about dry German rieslings, which can vary considerably depending on which region they come from, they are often far more delicate in texture than the others, precise and jewel-like rather than rich."

 

Wine Blogger Hans von Riesling comments on  German grand cru classification 'Grosses Gewächs' - making a point for less-is-more.
