Natur Pur used to be considered a culinary insider tip among ‘hiking’ wine and food lovers in Rheingau. Today the wine fest is known nationally and attracts guests from across the regions to the wine and gourmet trail laid out near Hattenheim village.
Great views, nice people, a relaxed atmosphere and a huge selection of wonderful wines leave nothing to be desired. You hike along the Hattenheim village on a marked path… and stop at wine and food stalls. Every few hundred meters you will find the wine stand of a winemaker of Hattenheim who, together with a catering partner, offers wine and culinary delicacies. Up to 14 winemakers take part every year, including several top winemakers with an international reputation.
A wine fest right in the Midst of Harvest Season in Rheingau!
Natur Pur is particularly interesting for wine lovers visiting Germany during harvest season: The wine festival ‘Natur Pur’ takes place annually on October 3rd (from 11.00 am). Ideally you travel by train from Mainz, Wiesbaden or Frankfurt. Regional commuter train RB 10 calls to Hattenheim station every half hour . The route is well signposted from Hattenheim train station.
