Our tour of the Rheingau with Jerome was a highlight of our tour of Germany. We knew we needed some guidance exploring the region, but did not want to do a large group bus tour. This was the perfect balance - a small group of 6. Jerome selected a nice variety of wineries to take us to, from traditional to modern. He obviously has deep knowledge of and contacts in the region, and used to those to construct a great tour. Thank you Jerome!

Ein Wochenende Rund um den Wein an Ahr, Mosel und Nahe

Eine famose Wintertour im Weinbaugebiet Mosel mit Ausreißern zu Winzern an die Ahr und Nahe. Ruhe, Stille, Entspanntheit – Eintauchen in die Atmosphäre von Weingütern in der Zwischensaison mit Winzern, die gemächlich aus der Winterruhe auftauchen um in die neue Saison zu starten.

"Vorige weekend ben ik voor het eerst met Jérôme meegeweest op een wijnreisje naar de Mosel en Nahe. het was een geweldig weekend en zeker weten voor herhaling vatbaar! Jérôme kent zoveel verschillende wijnhuizen, dus hij had een afwisselend schema in elkaar gezet. Van strak georganiseerde proeverijen bij de grote wijnhuizen, tot proeverijen aan de keukentafel bij de wijnmaker...het was allemaal even leuk.
Naast de proeverijen had hij ook rondleidingen in de wijnbedrijven geregeld en nam iedereen ruim de tijd voor ons.
De hotels die Jérôme heeft uitgezocht voor ons waren top. Goede bedden, schone kamers, heerlijk eten in de restaurants en niet te vergeten lekkere wijn.
Ik kan iedereen een reis met BottleStops aanbevelen, niet twijfelen...gelijk doen!"

"Het was hard werken met Jerome, maar iemand moet het doen hahahaha!!! Met Jerome op een wijntrip is geweldig.Wij zijn naar de Moezel en de Nahe geweest. Jerome is een prettig sympathiek persoon. Meest belangrijke is dat hij ook nog eens de mooie prestigieuze maar ook de gezellige kleinere familiewijnhuizen kent. De afwisseling was geweldig. Uitgebreide proeverijen met eenvoudige wijnen maar ook de mooie Grand Crus en lekkere glazen Sekt. Naast de tastings hebben we rondleidingen gekregen in de wijnbedrijven en zelfs wijn gedronken in de wijngaard zelf. Het voordeel is dat Jerome zowel perfect Engels als Duits spreekt en dat iedereen elkaar zo prima begrijpt. Ook de hotels en restaurants die Jerome uitkoos waren van zeer goede kwaliteit. Romantisch, gezellig, kleinschalig en met lekker eten en wijnen in de avond. Hij heeft als vervoer een comfortabele luxe minibus waar we (gelukkig) ook nog dozen wijn in konden meenemen. Ik kan iedereen Jerome met zijn bedrijf Bottlestops van harte aanbevelen. I will be back. De wijnen waren Ganz Groses Kino!!!!!!"

I had a great time in Nahe! I always wanted to go to the German wine region(s), they are super close to NL. So when I saw the BottleStops event, I didn't hesitate for a second. A round trip to the Nahe - and taste the Grand Crus of the region - in a day, I'm in .
Sure, 4 hours back and forth seems a bit much, but Jerome brought coffee and water and introduced us to the regions and the German wines. We were there in no time :)
Also, the van is super comfy. There's plenty of space (and I'm tall!). We stopped a couple of times on our way to stretch our legs and to see the beautiful Mosel Valley or eat a piece of German 'Kuche'. Like!

I will definitely join Jerome on the next trip!

Jerome knows the region and its wines so well, he made sure we tried the best wines, visited some beautiful wineries and drove through some of the most scenic routes I ve ever seen! It's all, vineyards on steep slopes, rivers, cute villages and green forests.
Before we start driving back, Jerome made sure we do like the locals and took a coffee and cake stop.
This was just a perfect day, full of beautiful views and images and some of the best wines you will get to try!
Bonus: wine is so affordable for its quality there! Make sure you get some good bottles for back home.
